Carol singing at the Barley Mow pub 2012

A relaxed and fun evening with in good company. A collection was taken round the pub which raised £60.44. This was split equally between Ashgate Hospice, the pub sponsored fund for Stan Padley & Choir funds.

Christmas Concert 2012

The Bach Choir directed by our Musical Director James Bingham

will be giving a Christmas concert of music for the Nativity entitled "A Child is Born". This concert, presented by Bolsover Civic Society, will include excerpts from Handel's Messiah and other advent music..

The concert is at Bolsover Parish Church on Saturday 17th November at 7.30PM.

The Bach Choir directed by James Bingham will be leading a service of Choral Evensong at Wingerworth All Saints Church on Sunday 7th October 2012 at 6-30 pm

2012 CHORAL DAY comprising a daytime workshop and an evening concert performance of FAURE’S REQUIEM St Michael and All Angels Church, Brimington Saturday 3rd March 2012

DAYTIME WORKSHOP with Paul Hayward (Musical Director of the Chesterfield Bach Choir and Assistant Director of Music at Nottingham RC Cathedral)

EVENING CONCERT AT 7:30pm Open to friends, family and the general public and performed by participants of the choral day.

Come and sing the Mozart Requiem Saturday 16th March at Brimington Church!

We are planning for folks to arrive from 9.30am and be ready to sing at 10. There will be a coffee break mid morning at a suitable time and then lunch at 12.30.

 Lunch (soup or bacon rolls) is available at small additional charge, alternatively feel free to bring your own packed lunch. We will then resume at 2pm and go on until 4.30 with a tea break.

Tickets: £8.00, including music and refreshments

In the evening we will give a performance as a concert for charity at 7.30pm with the proceeds to local charities, including Ashgate Hospice
